Welcome to the French Immersion Program at Reynolds Secondary

The French Immersion Program has been offered at Reynolds since the early 1990s. We are pleased to be able to offer students a full schedule of French Immersion courses that meet the BC Ministry of Education requirements for graduation with a dual dogwood diploma. We have added a new elective course, Espagnol 10, which ran for the first time in the fall of 2010.

Our program is currently growing with 2-3 full classes per grade (grades 11-12) and 4 classes at the grade 9-10 level. With around 300 French immersion students, Reynolds has the largest program in the district.

French Immersion students, like all other Reynolds students, have the opportunity to take part in other programs of choice offered at the school, such as Flex and the Center for Soccer Excellence.
